A PRACTICAL EDUCATION

Eagle Flight Training Ltd (EFT) provides  a comprehensive and practical understanding of the knowledge required for safe private flying and, of course, gets students through their exams as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Historically, PPL students buy theory books and self-study the 9 subjects, cramming for the exams so that they can continue with the flying syllabus but often leaving poor levels of understanding and knowledge. With the best will in the world, it’s very difficult for inexperienced students to appreciate from a book which details are really important for them to understand to become safe and effective pilots, and which details are background information - essential knowledge is quickly forgotten, often before the end of the flying course.

We recommend face-to-face training with experienced pilots, going methodically through all aspects of the various syllabi, and have two solutions to ensure understanding and retention of essential knowledge: 

• Group lessons - perfect for the self-studier who wants to refresh knowledge prior to the exam, and gain a practical understanding of the important aspects of each syllabus;
• Individual lessons - geared for students with no prior knowledge to work at their own pace and take their exams as soon as they are ready.
  

As the flying course progresses, students can return to us for each phase of training so the knowledge is fresh, practical and meaningful, allowing students to return to their flying training knowing they will gain maximum benefit from every flight which will save them significant time and money in the long run.
